Mark Driscoll, pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, was in Peoria today. He spoke at Riverside Community Church which sponsors one-day events with a vision to "partner with area churches and pastors and grow in relationship together, as we all work to advance the cause of Christ in our communities."
I really enjoyed Mark's presentation on keeping Christ and the Cross at the center of our preaching and teaching. I felt like I was back in seminary, but I absolutely loved it. I'll post some thoughts from his presentation early next week. I've got to keep focused on Leadership Community for this weekend...
